Lease Terms & Conditions

A. Key Terms

The following key terms apply to the rental of the garment Product(s).
PRODUCTS LEASED.

DELIVERY. Please note the leasing service is only available in the UK. LI accepts full responsibility for delivery of Products to the lease customer. LI endeavours to have Products arrive with the lease customer before 1pm on the first day of rental. A pre-paid return label will be included with the garment for the lease customer to return the Product on or before the seventh (last) day of rental. Delivery date to be specified at order and will be confirmed by LI pending stock availability.

RENTAL PERIOD. Rental period is 7 days: LI endeavours to have the Product arrive with the lease customer before 1pm on the first day and the lease customer accepts full responsibility for the Product until it is returned to LI.

B. Rental Details

The following additional conditions apply to the rental of any garment Product(s). PRODUCTS LEASED.

RENTAL FEE. The rental fee for the Product includes VAT and all cleaning. A postage and packaging fee will be charged at checkout. This is non-refundable.

REFUND POLICY. If the Product does not fit, the lease customer may return the Product to LI within 24 hours (excluding Sundays and holidays) of the date you received the Product by contacting LI at info@lauraironside.com. Upon receipt of the Product, LI will issue a full refund, so long as the product, in our sole discretion, has not been worn or damaged.

ADVANCE POSTAGE FOR FITTING. If the customer requires to try on the Product well in advance of the hire date to check for size/fit, a fit sample can be sent out for a period of 24 hours only. A total charge of thirty GBP (£35.00) will be payable for this service including postage. Due to weekend postal hours this service is only available for delivery Monday-Friday.

RETURN PACKAGING. With delivery of the Product a pre paid returns label will be enclosed. Please return product in the original packaging with the returns label attached.

USE OF THE PRODUCTS. Upon delivery, the lease customer bears responsibility for the Product(s). They agree to treat the Products with great care, as if it was borrowed from a close friend. The lease customer is responsible for loss, destruction or damage to the Products due to theft, mysterious disappearance, fire, major stains or any other cause, other than normal wear. Normal wear encompasses minor stains, missing buttons, stuck zippers or other minor damage. If a Product is returned that is damaged beyond normal wear, then LI shall invoice the lease customer for the price for repairing or replacing the Product, as determined in our discretion.

RETURN OF THE PRODUCTS. The lease customer agrees to return the Products to LI in the return packaging on or before the return date for the Products that are identified upon order.

LATE FEES. If the Products are returned late or not at all, a late fee of twenty GBP (£20.00) will be payable for every day that the Products are late (not including Sundays and holidays). If the Product has not been returned within seven (7) days after the return date for the Product, the late return will be considered a non-return and LI will charge the maximum late fee (price of replacing product), less any late fees that you have already paid.

CLEAN AND READY TO WEAR. Lease customers should not attempt to dry clean garments, this is arranged in-house. The Products will be professionally cleaned and delivered ready to wear. However due to transit, Products may need to be steamed before being worn. LI dry cleans and inspects each Product with the utmost care.
